OCCC Vision or Center-To-Table Gardens

Dozens of tower gardens on display

Project Scope:

The project consisted of approximately 7,300 square feet of space located in the South Building, to allow OCCC to serve in-house vegetables, plants and fruits in an all-natural and chemical free setting. In partnership with Centerplate, the freshest herbs and vegetables are grown in an all-natural, chemical-free environment. The 81 vertical tower gardens, each growing 44 individual plants, yield a total of 3,564 plants every four weeks.

This project won the 2017 LEEDership Award for Outstanding Sustainable Program/Orange County Urban Garden.
